Practical Care for People Facing Life's Hardest Moments
Clarence Helping Hand was born from a deeply personal understanding of how illness, financial hardship, and unexpected life challenges can affect an entire family.
Today, we serve as a growing, community-led initiative committed to bringing practical support to women, children, older people, and individuals living with disabilities across Kenya.
We identify people and families within the community who are facing difficult circumstances and work to provide help where it is needed most. This may mean easing the burden of a hospital bill, helping a child stay in school, providing food for a family, or offering basic support to someone whose disability has limited their ability to earn a living.
Our work is guided by a simple belief: people should not have to face hardship alone.

What We Do

Medical Support
We help ease the burden of medical costs for individuals and families facing illness or hospital-related needs. Support may include hospital bills, medication, medical visits, treatment follow-ups, and other essential care.
Disability Support
We support individuals living with disabilities whose circumstances may limit financial independence. This can include assistance with urgent medical needs, hospital expenses, food, and other basic living support.
Education Support
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn with dignity. We help support school fees, uniforms, books, shoes, learning materials, and other essential school needs.
Elderly Care
We extend care to older people who may be facing financial hardship, limited support systems, or difficulty meeting everyday needs. Our aim is to help preserve dignity, comfort, and wellbeing.
